Please read these terms before using Passpo-chan

1. Service
Passpo-chan creates passport-style ID photos from photos you upload. Compliant mode formats your photo without changing your face. Advanced mode uses AI to rebuild an ID-style image from 1 to 3 photos. A free watermarked preview is available; payment removes the watermark.
2. Not an official service
Passpo-chan is an independent service, not official, and is not affiliated with the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs or any passport office. Output is generated to match the published photo specifications, but final acceptance of any photo is always at the discretion of the receiving authority.
3. Payment and refunds
Prices are shown before purchase and charged once via Stripe. If generation fails, or the result has a clear quality problem, contact us for a refund. Compliant mode includes up to 4 retries with a different photo at no extra cost. See the Legal Disclosure page for details.
4. Your responsibilities
Upload only photos of yourself, or photos you have the right to use with the subject's consent. Do not upload unlawful content and do not use the service to impersonate another person.
5. AI-generated content
In Advanced mode the output is an AI-generated image based on your photos. Review the result carefully before using it.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You may use the generated photo for personal purposes without restriction.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service. The service is provided as is, with no warranty that any authority will accept the output.
8. Data deletion
Generated photos and uploads are deleted automatically after 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version published on this site applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
